Holy Cross Christian Preschool is a program for children ages three to five.
A complete curriculum is offered stressing spiritual, emotional, physical, cognate and social development.
We believe the Bible provides a framework for all of life's experiences. Through Bible stories and teachers who express their love, a child can become aware of God's love.
Children are also involved in first hand experiences as we place emphasis on learning by doing.
Our purpose is to enable children to develop their God-given potential and help them become responsible, caring, creative, and happy independent children.
The 2-day and 3-day classes are designed to develop the whole child through experiences that are spiritual, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive. Each child must be able to function without constant one-on-one adult supervision and or assistance. Children will be accepted by the order in which their applications are received. In the event of maximum enrollment, a waiting list will be established. A non-refundable registration fee is due with the application to reserve a space.
Our 2-day program is designed as an introduction to preschool for children who are three years old by October 1st.
The program provides a loving, nurturing setting to encourage development at an individual pace. Children gain an awareness of God's world and see themselves as a member of God's great family. The daily routine consists of experiences that include free choice, small and large group directed Bible lessons, Bible verses, prayer, music, art, games, stories, physical development and snack. Monthly themes follow the church calendar and include a "Family Worship Day!"
Our 2-day class runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:30 to 12 Noon, and is limited to 15 children with one teacher and one aid.
Our 3-day program is designed for children who are four years old by October 1st.
The program provides a loving, nurturing environment to encourage individual development with an emphasis on Christian behavior in God's world. Learning is fostered across the curriculum to allow the child to develop intellectually as well as socially. The daily routine consists of experiences that include directed Bible lessons, Bible verses, prayer, music, art, games, stories, physical development, circle time, "educational play" and snack. Monthly themes follow the church calendar and include "Family Worship Day" a well as cooperative learning through parent volunteering.
Our 3-day class runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 12 Noon, and is limited to 20 children with one teacher and one aide
